Rink Review - Az Ice Peoria

az ice peoria, formerly polar ice peoria, has been purchased by AZ ice, owner of the Arcadia ice arena in phoenix. This is the second ice arena recently purchased by az ice.
the purchase of this rink by the new owners was completed in early 2014. the goal of AZ ice is to make ice skating more acceptable for all ages, as well as more cost effective. the owners want to shore up the peoria rink and "bring it back to life".
The facility will have multiple repairs and upgrades, a relaunch of all skating and hockey programs, improving the food and beverage services, and most importantly, improve the quality of the ice. A pro shop is also being considered.
